The Urumqi High-tech Industrial Development Zone signed a cooperation framework agreement with Jusfoun Big Data on Aug 16 to promote the big data industry in the city.

Wu Guoshao, vice president of the company and Tang Shan, deputy secretary of the zone’s Party committee, signed the agreement. Other officials and Party leaders of the zone also attended the signing ceremony.

The Eurasia Big Data Research Institute, an important part of the cooperation, was established during the ceremony. It’s a landmark in the zone’s big data development and will stimulate its industrial upgrading.

The institute will focus on data collection, management, analysis and exchange. It is expected to promote communications between domestic and overseas companies and serve the countries along the Silk Road in terms of public welfare and socio-economic development.

Hao Jianmin, director of the zone’s management committee, said that the zone will emphasize cooperation with universities, institutes and companies to optimize its high and new technologies. Meanwhile, the government will formulate policies to facilitate the cooperation, so that the big data industry can contribute to sound and stable development of the zone’s economy.

Founded in 2010, Jusfoun is a forerunner in big data operation in China and is devoted to building a comprehensive big data chain. It has covered 30 kinds of big data including enterprises, government, finance and education. As of February, Jusfoun had served 300 financial institutes, industrial groups and governments at different levels.
