To welcome the International Children's Day on June 1, Shenyang Palace Museum in Shenyang -- capital of Northeast China's Liaoning province -- launched a children-themed exhibition on May 28, showcasing a slew of cultural relics related to children's life in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), according to local reports.

The exhibition comes in three sections: the children emperors in the Qing Dynasty, little items in the Qing palaces and childishness reflected in cultural relics.

Li Shengneng, curator of Shenyang Palace Museum, said that the exhibition showcases the world of children in the Qing Dynasty, helping present-day children learn about the lives of children in other times and presenting outstanding traditional Chinese culture to visitors.
