More medical staff, materials sent from Liaoning to Wuhan

The northern branch of China Southern Airlines arranged for two planes to send 200 medical workers and 10.77 tons of medical materials from Shenyang, capital of Northeast China's Liaoning province, to Wuhan in Central China's Hubei province, on Feb 20.

They were the 11th medical team from Liaoning to go to help in Wuhan, epicenter of the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak in China.

To date, the northern branch of China Southern Airlines has transported 1,511 medical workers and 73.52 tons of medical materials to Hubei province in 15 flights, according to officials.
