Shenyang closes 121 A-level tourist attractions

Shenyang, capital of northeastern Liaoning province, had closed all of its 121 A-level tourist attractions by the close of Jan 27, to prevent and control the novel coronavirus outbreak, according to local reports.

Officials from the Shenyang culture, tourism, radio, and television bureau said that all religious and tourism activities had been cancelled in the city, as well as cultural events which were scheduled to celebrate the Spring Festival.

In addition, entertainment venues such as internet bars, KTVs, dance halls, game centers, cinemas, swimming halls, and ski resorts have all been closed for the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus, according to officials.
