New Year’s concert staged in Shengjing Grand Theater

A special concert to mark the approaching New Year was held in Shengjing Grand Theater in Shenyang, capital city of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on Dec 23.

The concert was performed by around 100 artists and performers from the Shenyang Symphony Orchestra, who played classical string and choral pieces.

The concert, which was attended by more than 1,000 Shenyang residents, featured classic pieces such as Song of the Red Flag, Shengjing New Age and The Voice of Spring Waltz, receiving a rapturous reception from the audience.
