Voluntary art performance staged in Shenyang

Hosted by the Shenyang literary federation and organized by the city’s various art associations, a voluntary art performance was staged in Yuhong district, Shenyang, the capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on Dec 5 to mark the International Volunteer Day.

Officials said that the event aimed to enrich locals’ cultural life and promote volunteerism to Shenyang people.

Artists staged 11 performances for more than 500 visitors, including Peking Opera works, dancing, flute solos, and magic shows.
