Exhibition of Liaoning’s growth in 70 years proves a hit

An achievement exhibition for Liaoning province marking the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee, is proving to be a hit among Liaoning locals according to officials.

The ongoing exhibition opened on Sept 29 in the Liaoning Provincial Library in Shenyang and by 5 pm on Dec 5 it had received 1,102 visiting groups and 518,381 visitors, officials said.

Including the main exhibition area and sub areas, the exhibition displays more than 2,000 photographs, showcasing Liaoning province’s development and achievements over the past seven decades.

The main exhibition area displays the province’s economic, political, cultural, social, ecological development and Party building achievements, depicting the province’s revitalization.

The sub exhibition areas include 15 sections covering Liaoning province’s 14 cities and the Shenfu new area, to display their economic and social development.

Photos, texts, videos, audios, modes and real objects all feature in the exhibition and forums, lectures and performances are also being staged for visitors.
