More than 40 information officers and media workers from countries involved in the “Belt and Road” Initiative are currently on a visit to Northeast China’s Liaoning province, to learn about the province’s development under the initiative, according to local reports.

The visit kicked off on Nov 20, and representatives –– from countries including Ethiopia, South Sudan, and Costa Rica –– will visit Shenyang and Jinzhou during the seven days.

In Shenyang, they visited Liaoning Provincial Museum, the 1905 Culture Creation Industry Park, universities, companies and media organizations, to learn about Shenyang’s development in industry, education and culture.

They also learned to make Liaoning-featured cuisine at the Liao cuisine base, to get a knowledge about Chinese dishes.
