The Fourth Photography Exhibition of the World Overseas Chinese Liaoning exhibition kicked off on Nov 15 at the Liaoning Art Museum in Shenyang, the capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, according to the organizers.
The exhibition, hosted by the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, has been held for the fourth time since 2013.
It has involved the participation of tens of thousands of overseas Chinese photographers in more than 30 countries and regions in the world.
This year’s exhibition is in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
It opened in Beijing in September and moved to Anhui in October.
The Liaoning exhibition is featuring more than 300 pieces of work from 18 countries and regions.
Qi Quansheng, vice-president of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, said the exhibition aims to provide cultural support for the province in its revitalization and high-quality development.
The exhibition runs until Nov 19.
