Shenyang badminton event deepens ties between companies

A badminton competition was held in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province on Oct 26 -- with participation of players from China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, India and other countries.

Hosted by the Shenyang branch of the European Chamber, the competition was held to promote exchanges between local and international companies in Shenyang, as well as to help companies improve their business environment, according to the organizers.

Players came from Shenyang’s companies and international organizations in the auto manufacturing, home appliances sectors -- as well as from the energy, mechanical engineering, catering, education and healthcare industries.

According to officials, the city will hold more of these exchange activities in the future, to strengthen the bonds between companies in Shenyang.
