What you need to know about the Shenyang International Agriculture Expo?

Editor’s Note: Shenyang, capital of Liaoning province, is currently gearing up for the 19th Shenyang International Agriculture Expo, one of the most influential agricultural exhibitions in Northeast China. It aims to promote agricultural products to domestic and overseas markets and deepen agricultural cooperation with other countries and regions.

Where: Shenyang International Convention and Exhibition Center (No 9 Huizhan Road, Sujiatun district, Shenyang)

Sponsor: Liaoning Provincial People’s Government, Shenyang Municipal People’s Government

Size: 2,500 standard booths and five exhibition halls covering an area of 60,000 square meters

Exhibits: more than 10,000 types of products, including animal husbandry displays, aquatic products, wine, fruit, mushrooms, food processing machinery, cold chain equipment, and more, will be displayed.

Exhibitors: more than 1,000 international enterprises from 30 countries and regions, including Russia, Australia, the US, Canada, Italy, South Korea, and Japan, and over 2,000 domestic enterprises will attend

Other activities: a promotional meeting for Liaoning agriculture brands, a meeting to connect farmers with buyers, an agricultural e-commerce summit forum, a forum on rural development, and an award ceremony for winners of the 2nd Farmers’ Harvest Festival

E1 Hall for Liaoning province: Will showcase the agricultural achievements of every city in Liaoning province over the past 40 years of reform and opening up, Liaoning’s high-quality agricultural products, Liaoning’s top 100 agricultural brands, the province’s poverty alleviation achievements, the scientific and technological achievements and products of the Liaoning Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Shenyang Agricultural University, and Liaoning Province Supply and Marketing Co.

W1 Hall for Shenyang: Will showcase the agricultural achievements of every district and county in Shenyang over the past 40 years of reform and opening up and Shenyang’s agricultural brands

E2 Hall for overseas exhibitors: Will mainly display condiments, snack food, meat, drinks, cold chain logistics equipment, and more from Australia, France, Italy, South Korea, and Russia

W2 Hall for domestic exhibitors outside Liaoning province: Will feature a smart agriculture exhibition area and a grain and oil area for national-level agricultural enterprises

E3 Hall for health food: Will mainly display grain and oil products, aquatic products, fruits and vegetables, livestock and poultry products, forestry products, and green food recognized by the national food agency
