Shenyang’s new station building begins operating

The west station building of the Shenyang South Railway Station began operating on Aug 19 at 8 am.

The Shenyang South Railway Station, which consists of an east and a west station building, is the largest high-speed railway station in Northeast China with an area of 31,000 square meters.

The station has 12 platforms and 26 railway routes. It can service up to 127 trains per day.

The new building is expected to alleviate congestion and make things more convenient for passengers coming from Sujiatun and Changbaidao.
