China equipment manufacturing expo to held in Shenyang

The 18th China International Equipment Manufacturing Expo (CIEME) will be held at the Shenyang International Convention and Exhibition Center in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, from Sept 1 to 5.

The slogan for this year’s expo is “Intelligent manufacturing and the revitalization of Northeast China”.

The expo will cover an area of 110,000 square meters and consist of eight indoor exhibition pavilions and one outdoor exhibition area. It will feature pavilions for overseas equipment, intelligent manufacturing, and cooperation among cities.

Around 4,200 exhibition stands have already been set up, including 1,363 for foreign enterprises from 17 countries and regions.

There will be exhibits for industrial robots, CNC (computer numerical control) machine tools, environmental protection equipment, transportation, energy, and more.

Around 120 enterprises have already confirmed their intent to participate in the expo. Among them, 64 are Global Fortune 500 companies or multinational corporations and 12 are world-leading CNC machine tool manufacturing enterprises.

In addition to exhibitions, a series of forums, meetings, and other activities will be held during the expo. It will feature the 4th Manufacturing Industry Summit Forum and the Industrial Innovation Development Forum, which will focus on the development trends and latest achievements of industries in China, explore in-depth new ways to develop a stronger industrial foundation, and accelerate the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
