An exhibition entitled “The Imperial Majesty –– Daily Necessities of Court Life in the Qing Dynasty Preserved by the Shenyang Palace Museum” opened at the Changsha Museum in Changsha, capital of Central China’s Hunan province, on Aug 9.

It is jointly hosted by the Changsha Museum and Shenyang Palace Museum and displays a total of 95 sets of daily necessities used by the imperial household during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

Clothes, tableware, articles of daily use, furniture, and decorations used in the palace are all on display.

The exhibition teaches visitors about Qing culture and handicraft development during the Qing Dynasty. It will be open for free until Nov 24, during which the Changsha Museum will organize lectures and experiential activities.
