Shenyang furnishing expo to be held in August

The 10th China Shenyang International Furnishing Expo will take place at the Shenyang International Exposition Center in Shenyang, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, from Aug 9 to 11.

The exposition, one of the most influential furniture events in Northeast China region, aims to increase international business and develop the Northeast Asian markets.

The exhibition area contains 11 exhibition halls covering a total area of 150,000 square meters and houses exhibits on raw materials, machinery, accessories, decorations, and furniture.

More than 1,000 enterprises from China and abroad have confirmed that they will participate in the expo. The number of visitors is expected to reach 150,000.

To satisfy people’s various demands, this year’s event has set aside an area of 60,000 square meters for customized furniture, where exhibitors will display their latest products and services.

The expo will also include a diverse array of exhibits by independent designers and students from the LuXun Academy of Fine Arts and Shenyang University.

During the exhibition, Shenyang will also hold the China Modern Furniture Industry Forum and the China Shenyang International Furniture Design Competition and organize matchmaking meetings and visits to furniture industrial parks in Liaoning.
