WDC World Dance Open kicks off in Shenyang

The 2019 WDC (World Dance Council) World Dance Open kicked off at the gymnasium of Shenyang University in Shenyang, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on July 27.

The event is hosted by the Shenyang culture, tourism, radio, and television bureau and the Shenyang sports administration.

Around 60 dancers from a number of countries and regions such as Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, France, Austria, and Ukraine signed up to participate in the event along with more than 4,000 dancers from China.

The event helps promote dancing in Shenyang and enriches people’s lives, said the organizers.
