Small-and-middle sized enterprises in Northeast China’s Liaoning province will have better access to scientific research instruments, as the province is boosting sharing and match-making of instruments between enterprises and institutes.
An online large scientific research instrument sharing platform has already been established, with the settlement of 115 scientific research institutes and universities from 11 cities in Liaoning. A total of 2,387 instruments with each valued at over 300,000 yuan or above are available for enterprises that have instrument borrowing needs.
Statistics from the platform reveals that it has provided 5,000 services since its establishment, improving the usage frequency of the instruments and helping enterprises save costs on buying an instrument.
The next step of the platform is to organize more offline activities.
Responding to the work plan, a match-making meeting between enterprises and scientific research institutes was recently organized by the Department of Science and Technology of Liaoning and the Liaoning Key Technology Innovation and Scientific Research Base in Shenyang, capital city of Liaoning.
More than 200 representatives from 50 scientific research institutes and 48 enterprises attended the signing of nine strategic cooperation agreements. Around 300 instrument sharing projects in the fields of biopharmaceutical, energy saving, environmental protection, petrochemical, new materials and modern agriculture were promoted.
