Qipao show takes center stage in Shenyang

A stylish fashion show of qipao – a traditional Chinese body-hugging, one-piece dress, also known in Cantonese as the cheongsam – is staged at the Industrial Museum of China in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on May 25. Supported by the China National Textile and Apparel Council, the show was part of the first China qipao cultural festival and the third Shenyang international qipao cultural festival. A total of 10 well-known qipao designers in the country showcased their designs during the show. [Photo/IC]
