Qixing Park Lantern Fair

Qixing Park Lantern Fair is one of the largest of its kind in Shenyang and has free admission.

The exhibition area at the fair covers 370,000 square meters and is divided into four sections: “Pray for the Year of the Pig”, “Harmonious and Happy Life”, “Flourishing Age” and “Fly Your Dream”. An installation of over 180 dazzling groups of lanterns illuminate the park during the night.

Zigong Lantern Fair

Zigong Lantern Fair will make its debut in Wulihe Park, Shenyang on Feb 19. The lantern fair gets its name from Zigong city in Southwest China’s Sichuan province—”the hometown of lantern art”.

Glowing groups of lanterns made by craftsmen using the Zigong traditional lantern skills will be on display in eight exhibition areas, including “red memory”, “splendid Shenyang”, “military and civilian integration”, “traditional culture”, “Shenyang landscapes”, “Shenyang brand names”, “Shenyang delicacy” and “Sichuan business park”.

The lantern fair will last 10 days until Feb 28.

Lighting time: 4pm to 9pm

Ticket price: 60 yuan
