Shenyang to hold arts festival

The 2018 Shenyang arts festival is to open on Sept 15 in Shenyang, capital city of Liaoning province, staging more than 130 performances for visitors.

Running until Oct 29, the festival will invite more than 50 performance teams from all over the world, with performances including Peking operas, dramas, acrobatics, singing, dancing, symphonies, and magic shows.

In addition, several art exhibitions will be organized during the festival.

Discount tickets will be available to visitors, with prices of 30 yuan ($4.36), 10 yuan, or even free, enabling more residents to enjoy the performances.

The festival's opening ceremony will be held at the Shengjing Grand Theater at 19:00 pm on Sept 15.
