Tourism industry expo held in Shenyang

The 2018 China Tourism Industries Exposition concluded at the Shenyang International Exhibition Center, Shenyang, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on Aug 20.

The four-day event covers an exhibition area of 13,000 square meters with more than 200 stands, attracting nearly 200 companies from all over the country, including Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, and Guangdong provinces.

During the four days, more than 50,000 visitors attended the expo, including approximately 20,000 from other provinces. The on-site transaction volume exceeded 40 million yuan ($5.82 million), and volume of orders exceeded 80 million yuan.

The expo showcased tourism equipment, such as caravans, outdoor items, tents, yachts, and VR experience equipment.

Tourism elements including intangible cultural heritage items, folk arts, and local foods were also displayed to visitors, to promote Shenyang’s tourism.
