Shenyang hosts international sourcing fair

The 2018 Liaoning International Sourcing Fair was held in Shenyang, capital of Liaoning province, on Aug 9. The fair connected companies in the province with businesses abroad and tentative deals worth 2.17 billion yuan ($315.08 million) were discussed.

Hosted by the Department of Commerce of Liaoning Province and China International Electronic Commerce Center, the fair attracted representatives from more than 100 companies all over the world and more than 600 companies in Liaoning province.

The event focused on promoting industries in Liaoning, including medicine, chemicals, textile and clothing, and mechanical and electronic sectors.

In addition to exchanges at the fair, purchasers from foreign countries also visited companies in Liaoning province to learn more about them.

The fair will help companies in Liaoning province to go global and participate in more international business, as well as attract foreign companies to invest in the province.
