Lego model of Shenyang station amuses residents

A model of Shenyang Railway Station made out of Lego bricks has been put on display at a shopping mall in Shenyang, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, drawing the interest of shoppers in the city.

The model, made of around 40,000 Lego bricks, took Jiang Shenghui and three others a total of three weeks to complete.

Jiang is one of the 19 LEGO Certified Professionals (LCP) in the world, and is currently the youngest.

The new Lego model is designed to look like Shenyang Railway Station did in the 1980s.

There was no drawing, we just had to work from a file photo, said Jiang.

In addition to the main building of the railway station, the model also includes platforms, a green train, and over 40 Lego figurines with different clothing, accessories, and facial expressions.

Next, Jiang plans to make a model of Marshal Zhang's Mansion with Lego bricks.
