High-quality route 3: A deluxe winter tour of ice and snow

Inside the Qipan Mountain Scenic Area in the northeastern part of Shenyang, Qipan Mountain Ice and Snow World brings recreation to 500,000 square meters of thick forests, mountains and large expanses of ice.

Shenyang Northeastern Asia Ski Center Resort is a professional resort offering alpine skiing, aerial sightseeing, and other recreation activities. It has the longest and most beautiful ski trails in Shenyang.

Shenyang Guaipo International Ski Field offers skiers two high-grade and two middle-grade trails, three junior trails, and an area for “flying saucer” and sled use. A 50,000 sq m ice and snow tourism and entertainment area is also provided.

Baiqingzhai Ski Resort provides primary, intermediate and alpine snow fields, as well as an air ropeway, “magic carpet” conveyor, a pull rod system and other transport modes. Single and double ski equipment, aerial freestyle facilities and a half-pipe are also on hand.

Inspired by the fishing culture of the Liaohe River civilization, Wolong Lake’s Winter Fishing Festival shows fishing to be an integral part of Khitan culture. Festival attendees can experience ancient fishing methods for themselves.
