Recommended sites: Marshal Zhang's Mansion, the former site of Yang Yuting's Mansion, the former site of Chang Yinhuai’s Mansion, the former site of Zhang Shouyi’s Mansion, the former site of Tang Yulin’s Mansion.

Marshal Zhang's Mansion was once owned by former army marshal, Zhang Zuolin, and his son, Zhang Xueliang, a famous patriot. A museum was founded there in 1914 and is now a national 4A tourist attraction.

The former site of Yang Yuting's Mansion on Kuixinglou Road comprises Siheyuan (traditional Chinese courtyards) and foreign buildings in a European neoclassical style.

The former site of Chang Yinhuai’s Mansion occupies 3,295 square meters of Wanshou Lane and features a brick-concrete structure and sloping roof covered with green iron plating.

The former site of Zhang Shouyi’s Mansion is actually two sites: one occupying 1,926 sq m of Bawei Road and another on 2,105 sq m of Wenhui Street, the latter sporting a typical French classical architectural style. Zhang Shouyi was the fifth wife of former army marshal, Zhang Zuolin.

The former site of Tang Yulin’s Mansion also sits on two sites. One site at Shiyiwei Road features luxurious decorations and was rebuilt as Liaoning Provincial Museum in 1959. The other sits on 2,100 sq m of Beisanjing Street.
