High-quality route 7: Touring industrial sites

Recommended sites: Industrial Museum of China, Workers' Village Living Museum, SAC (Shenyang Aircraft Corporation) Aviation Expo Park, Shenyang Railway Locomotive Exhibition Hall, Tiexi 1905 Cultural and Creative Park, BMW Brilliance Tourist Center.

The Industrial Museum of China is a reconstruction and expansion of the existing Shenyang Tiexi Casting Museum. Recording China’s transition from a weak economy to a strong one, the museum was listed as a national 4A tourist attraction in February 2017.

Workers’ Village Living Museum was designed to replicate typical workers’ dormitory buildings of the Tiexi district in 1950s Shenyang. The museum highlights the living conditions, environment, and daily operations of workers of the time.

SAC Aviation Expo Park was the first large exhibition hall in China devoted to systematically introducing the history of the development of China's “annihilation” aircraft and aviation science in general. The park provides a comprehensive introduction to aviation and national defense education through its collection of more than 800 historical pictures and physical artifacts.

Showrooms at Shenyang Railway Locomotive Exhibition Hall displays 24 steam locomotives, 15 diesel locomotives, two electric locomotives, 14 trucks, 13 passenger cars and 68 other locomotives.

Tiexi’s 1905 Cultural and Creative Park is reconstruction of two metalworking workshops operated by Northern Heavy Industry Group that retains the original architecture. A variety of popular domestic restaurants, cultural bars, theme cafes, creative studios and theatres can be found at the park.

The BMW Brilliance Tourist Center provides visitors a chance to view BMW's automotive production lines in person.
