A high-speed train service named “Fantawild” made its debut at Shenyang North Railway Station in Shenyang, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on July 14.
The new G1222 service is being sponsored by Fantawild Holdings, a well-known Chinese entertainment and technology firm.
Fantawild has built a total of 24 theme parks in more than 10 cities across China.
The train will depart Shenyang North Railway Station and eventually arrive at Ningbo Railway Station in Zhejiang province after stopping at Tianjin, Jinan in Shandong province, and Nanjing in Jiangsu province.
The sponsored train service is all part of a move by Fantawild to promote its brand and tourism to its theme parks. Several cities that the train passes through have Fantawild theme parks.
Pillowcases, towels, posters, and other items with Fantawild branding can be seen in the carriages of the train, as well as some cartoon characters.
