Located at No 28 Shengjing Road, in Shenyang’s Shenhe district in Liaoning province, the office of governors of the three provinces in Northeast China has a history reaching back more than 370 years.
The building was an office for officials of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), warlord Zhang Zuolin and his son Zhang Xueliang, and several governors of the three provinces in Northeast China (present-day Liaoning, Jilin and Heilongjiang).
The building features typical European architecture, with green brick walls and a deep red steel-tiled roof.
One of the most historic buildings in Shenyang, it became a provincial cultural relic protection unit in 2014.
