The 15th Shenyang Faku International Ceramics Expo and Fair was held in Faku county, Shenyang, Liaoning province from July 7-9.
Faku county is renowned for its advanced ceramics industry, and this year’s expo was themed on “high-end, branded, environment-friendly and intelligent development”, highlighting the county’s achievements in technology innovation, environmental protection, industrial restructuring, and brand building in the ceramic sector over recent years.
The Faku Economic Development Zone reached cooperation agreements with more than 10 companies, with a total planned investment of over 6 billion yuan ($907.47 million) during the expo.
Hosted by China Ceramics Industrial Association, China Building Ceramics and Sanitaryware Association, and Faku government, the expo attracted nearly 8,000 merchants from all over the world.
More than 400 people, including environmental protection experts from the country’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment, university professors, raw material suppliers, equipment manufacturers and trade service providers, attended the opening ceremony.
