Shenyang to get new high-speed rail services in July

A new high-speed train service will start to run from Shenyang, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, to Chengdu, Sichuan province, on July 1.

The G1284/3 train will depart Shenyang North Railway Station at 7:03, and arrive at Chengdu East Railway Station at 21:36 –– a journey of 14 hours and 33 minutes, with a one-way trip covering a distance of 2,256 kilometers.

It will also be the first time that long-distance high-speed trains have run from Northeast China to Southwest China.

The newly-launched G1292 high-speed train will depart Changchun Railway Station at 8:47, and arrive at Changsha South Railway Station at 22:08, stopping at Shenyang North Railway Station at 10:20.

It will be the first time that high-speed trains have run from Shenyang to Changsha, Hunan province.
