Design week opens in Shenyang

The second Shenyang Creative Design Week opened at Northeastern University in Shenyang, Liaoning’s provincial capital, on May 27.

This year’s event is themed around “creative designs for the city”, and the main activities include an international summit forum and design competitions which will be held over the week, with the aim of improving the city’s image and developing a high-end service industry with a focus on the creative design service sector.

A number of well-known experts and scholars in the field of creative design will share their opinions at the summit forum, giving advice on the development of a creative design sector in Shenyang.

The event will conclude on June 3.
