Shenyang holds seminar on family education

A seminar on Chinese family education was held in Shenyang, Liaoning province on May 23, with participation of the province’s education experts, university and college teachers, and parent representatives.

Participants held discussions on topics such as the importance of family education and the media’s role in helping educate children.

Yu Yongchang, an expert on Shenyang’s education sector, said that only a partnership of schools, society and family can provide a good and all-round education for a child.

An education cooperation development platform called “321! GO” was also launched at the seminar, providing services such as curriculum research and development, and guidance on education theories.
