“Shenyang is so beautiful, even beyond my imagination,” a journalist from South Sudan said, after visiting the city’s diamond-shaped Shengjing Grand Theater.
More than 30 members from the 2018 Workshop for African Journalists visited Shengjing Grand Theater in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on May 21.
Hosted by the State Council Information Office and organized by China International Publishing Group Training Center, the activity is being held in Beijing and Liaoning province from May 9 to 28.
Journalists are from African countries including Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda, Uganda, and Zambia.
The development of Shenyang is much more advanced than is commonly realized, remarked one Rwandan journalist, going on to compliment the facilities at Shengjing Grand Theater.
“I have already written about my experiences in Shenyang and introduced Shenyang to the people of my country,” said a journalist from Uganda.
African Journalists also visited Liaoning Radio and Television Station, and Shenyang SIASUN Robot Automation Company in the city.
