Shenyang Grand Theater

Shengjing Grand Theater was formerly known as the Shenyang Cultural Arts Center. The theater, shaped like a diamond, has a total construction area of about 85,000 square meters.On Oct 1, 2014, the theater was put in operation.

This project is another landmark building of Shenyang. It is located west of the Wu'ai Hunhe River Tunnel, east of Youth Avenue, north of Hunhe River and south of Erhuan Road.

The center includes a main building area of 67,000 square meters and a large platform of 18,000 square meters. The main building has a total height of 60 meters. In addition to the integrated theater, concert hall, and multi-function hall, the center also includes more than 3,000 square meters of underground parking and more than 30,000 square meters of ancillary space.

The theater can stage a number of theatrical performances such as dramas, opera, ballet, concerts, and fashion shows. The sophisticated acoustics of the theatre match those of the National Center for the Performing Arts.
