Dalian Port Co signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with its Tianjin counterpart to carry out cooperation and exchanges in eight fields including port production, management, logistics, construction and investment.
Based on the agreement, both sides - with the location advantage of Circum-Bohai-Sea economic circle and also policy advantages - will cooperate in the development of trade ship routes, cruise business, port information construction, and free trade port construction - relying on their own wide market and rich logistics resources.
The cooperation will help the two ports play a larger role in Northeast Asia and in connecting East and West Asia to improve their international competitiveness.
