Online classes prove popular in Pingyao

"Pingyao online live classroom", a program launched by Pingyao education and science bureau as well as Pingyao Radio and Television, has so far had more than 18,000 students since its launch on April 6.

Among the students, more than 15,000 have watched videos for the courses related to the entrance exam for high school and over 3,000 have taken courses related to the national college entrance exam.

There are currently 106 teachers giving 112 lessons online.

At present, lessons for the coming summer holiday are being prepared and are expected to be available to students from July 16.
