Diabetes experts lecture in Pingyao

Experts from the Chinese Diabetes Society explained prevention, treatment and management of diabetes to medical staff from Pingyao Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine on May 23.

Their visit was part of a tour of medical organizations launched by Shanxi Medical Association with the aim of improving the skills of doctors working at grassroots level in the treatment and management of diabetes.

The move also aims to improve patients' awareness of diabetes and further reform of hospitals at town and county level.
