Heyang Gallery in Shanxi mixes modern and ancient aspects

Heyang Gallery is a two-story building built in a style similar to Datong east wall, a fortified ancient gateway to Datong city. It has spacious rooms built in a concise, primitive and earthy style. The gallery is laid out with six exhibition areas, including two that house competitive products. There are humanistic spaces interspersed among the exhibition areas, including an academic exchange area, rest area, reception room, reading room and multi-functional conference hall. The gallery also hosts a high-tech 4D cinema offering viewers a fantastic experience.

Based on the original brick wall and its original structure, the gallery is trying to maintain an "original design" by utilizing light, space and multimedia. The gallery has adopted the latest technology from home and abroad. It has made use of a top of the line domestic professional lighting and intelligent control system. The system has become a highlight in the domestic exhibition hall’s construction, bringing attention to exhibit protection, energy conservation and environmental protection.
