Shanxi police opened self-service stations in Taiyuan on Nov 5.
With the installation of 24-hour self-service stations established at police offices in the city, three police services can be dealt without having to interact with another person: entry and exit, vehicle administration and residency administration.
So far, 19 self-service kiosks have been put in place at six local police stations to provide 24-hour convenience to residents.
