The Shanxi provincial office in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, has recently established Shanxi provincial investment promotion liaison offices in the Pearl River Delta at Shanxi chambers of commerce in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region and Yunnan province.
So far, the Shanxi provincial office in Guangzhou has set up five such liaison offices in the pan-Pearl River Delta region.
The move was aimed at establishing an investment promotion platform and further resource sharing, communication and collaboration with Guangxi and Yunnan by making use of the location advantage of Guangxi, which is near the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the region’s preferential policies for the Belt and Road Initiative as well as Yunnan’s resources advantages.
