Taihang Mountains, stretching over 1,000 kilometers long, looks most spectacular along the main line of Yangquan, Jinzhong, Changzhi and Jincheng cities.
The grand canyon, Mount Lingkong, Mount Lishan, Wang Mang Mountain Range, and Manghe nature reserve are rare natural scenic areas of Taihang Mountains. Taihang Mountains, bordering Shanxi, Hebei and Henan provinces, is high and steep, featuring spectacular precipices and deep valleys. With a long history, Mount Taihang retains rich cultural relics. It keeps the largest number of ancient temples in the province.
