Shanxi deputies to the 13th National People's Congress submitted six motions and 202 suggestions during the national legislative session.
The Shanxi delegation to the National People's Congress focused on the themes of the session and put forward plans on issues such as industrial transformation, rural education and development, social security and eco-protection.
The six motions involve amendment, legislation and revocation of laws related to metrology, quality promotion, crime, township enterprises, public security administration and punishment, and the arbitration system.
Among the 202 suggestions, three were put forward in the name of the delegation. They referred to the layout of national key technological projects in Shanxi, application for approval of the integration of coal, electricity, aluminum-magnesium and material industries in Shanxi, and including Shanxi as a pilot province for interprovincial eco protection and preservation of river basins.
