Datong city in Shanxi province will cooperate with Tus-Holdings Co to build a clean energy technology park to advance the city's clean energy revolution.

The park, covering 12.1 hectares, is expected to include industrial platforms such as industrial incubators and scientific research institutes, as well as facilities such as hotels, technology museums and apartments.

Based on Datong’s pillar industries, the park, named Datong Energy Technology City, will attract clean energy-related companies and establish related business incubators, as well as national key laboratories to provide technical support for the upgrading of the coal and energy industries in the city.

Meanwhile, the park will partner with local energy companies such as Datong Coal Mine Group in launching clean power and energy storage projects.

As for professional training and cultivation, Datong Energy Technology City will introduce Tus-Holdings Clean Energy Research Institute and postgraduate and doctoral workstations to attract more experts and professionals to Datong.

A clean energy trade center will be built in the park to offer a platform integrating an energy base, capital market and the trade of intellectual property. The park also plans to hold a national clean energy summit to further raise Datong’s profile as a clean energy city.

Founded in 2000, tech-service provider Tus-Holdings Co based in Beijing has established a nationwide innovation system with science parks as the key facilities, covering 30 cities and regions in China, and has set up an incubation network covering the United States, South Korea, and Russia.
