The one-week pear flower festival kicked off on April 15 at the Xi county of Linfen city, North China's Shanxi province, with various theme activities to be held, including a product display, a tourism promotion, performances, intangible cultural heritages shows, and a photography contest. Xi county has won a reputation as the Home of Crisp Pears in China with productivity of over five million kilograms in a planting area of 12,000 hectares.
