A job fair for women in urban villages' reconstruction projects was held in Taiyuan, North China’s Shanxi province, on June 19, jointly organized by the city's women's federation and bureau of human resources and social security.
In order to facilitate the reconstruction of urban villages, the job fair prepared 720 jobs for over 1,500 job seekers. It also supplied free services such as career directions to the job hunters.
Two job fairs for urban villagers will be scheduled every month, collecting job applicants' information and recommending them to employers.
