Native North American artwork on display in Shanxi museum

The Native North Americans' Artworks Exhibition kicked off on Dec 12 in Shanxi province based on the joint organization of American Bowers Museum and Shanxi Museum. It is the second exhibition that Shanxi Museum introduced from the US in 2014.

Traveling a long distance, a total of 133 artworks from Native Americans, including feather headwear, ceramic wares and carpets were displayed in Shanxi Museum. Various native languages, religions, social structures and customs were presented to the visitors and showcased the charm of harmonious original ecological civilization and a vivid and real Native American world. The exhibition will last until March 19, 2015, then move to its next stop, Hunan Museum.
