Those who have experienced the dizzying heights of Shanghai's vibrant metropolis may want to get under the city's skin and experience what things are like down below. And down below can best be described as a psychedelic multimedia fantasy if you take the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel.
The 647-meter sightseeing tunnel connects Puxi, west of the Huangpu River and Pudong to the east. The entrance on the Bund is located at the north of Chenyi Square.
The tunnel, which takes from 3-5 minutes to cross underneath the river, carries passengers by maglev train and provides various kinds of lightshows involving audio and visual multimedia effects.
AR Experience Center
The Augmented Reality (AR) Experience Center provides visitors with a truly out-of-this-world experience. With the use of special headsets, visitors are able to observe a magical world of creatures in the Huangpu River, hold the entire universe on the palm of their hand, or perform with dancers in 1920s Shanghai.
3-D Trick World
Marilyn Monroe awaits her foot massage at the 3-D Trick World in the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel, where vivid 3-D pictures create optical illusions.
Submarine Adventure
