Lujiazui celebrates Children's Day

Lujiazui financial area, Shanghai's Pudong New District hosted a carnival at its cultural center on May 29 to celebrate the upcoming Children's Day, which falls on June 1 every year.

The carnival was launched by the Lujiazui community as part of its culture and art festival, which aims to enrich local people's cultural lives.

Various entertaining and educational activities were put on at the center. They included painting, pottery making, a treasure hunt, paper aircraft making, shooting games, and talent shows.

The event attracted more than 1,000 kids and parents, giving them an opportunity to get to know each other.

The organizers said that they hope the kids will have an unforgettable and happy festival experience through such activities.
