Courses to begin at Shanghai school promoting art finance

The Asian Institute of Art and Finance in Shanghai has announced that it will run its first courses on May 26, reported Pudong Times on April 18.

The curriculum includes artwork and insurance, trans-boundary operation of financial institutes, operation modes and development of the art industry.

Founded in March 2015, the school is the first high-level educational institute of artwork finance in Shanghai's Free Trade Zone dedicated to boosting the art industry in China and cultivating inter-disciplinary talents in both artwork and finance.

The classes will be taught both in English and Chinese in Shanghai, Luxemburg, New York, Tokyo, and London with various emphases. Classes in Shanghai will focus on cross-border operation of artwork and banking industry; Luxemburg will target artwork asset management and offshore finance; New York will study capital operation of artwork corporations; Tokyo will feature the development of art industry; and London will target value investment in artwork funds.
