Jiangqiao gets a new business incubator

Authorities from Jiading district of Shanghai announced the opening of the Yida North Hongqiao Pioneer Park at Jiangqiao town on March 18, local media reported.

This new park is one of the key projects to build the North Hongqiao Central Business District. It was established by the Yida Software New City, a leading software park and technical park operator in China.

The park enjoys favorable location as it is only 260 meters away from the Jinyunlu Station of Shanghai's Metro 13 and 650 meters from the Jiangqiao Wanda Plaza. It aims to offer comfortable and convenient work space to start-ups.

The launch of this new park is expected to boost the town's innovation and entrepreneurship and help transform its industries, said the authorities.

The authorities also mentioned that Jiangqiao will carry out lots of measures to create a better business environment and attract more talented personnel as well as companies to the town.

It will set up a 100 million yuan ($15.4 million) North Hongqiao innovation and entrepreneurship investment fund, and a 10 million yuan talent supporting fund. It will also build more business incubators and apartments to offer comprehensive services to talented people. The people, who have innovative ideas and want to start their own business.
